I love the fall season when misty days lift to reveal gorgeous new colours. Here in Scotland birchwoods are very common and I was inspired to create this picture after a lovely sunny hillwalk.

Here is a haiku I wrote to go with the picture:

'Change is in the air
magic wands await their call.
Release the colours!'
